Befriending Me is a year-long Spiral of gentle support and discovery. Rooted in community, it weaves together education, embodiment, yoga, meditation, and creative practice – all underpinned by neuroscience and the lens of Polyvagal Theory. Each step is accessible, holistic, and designed to meet you where you are, helping you move towards greater ease, resilience, and connection.
Do you live with persistent health challenges – fatigue, pain, stress, or overwhelm? Befriending Me offers a gentle, supportive community where you can reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit in manageable steps.
Befriending Me is more than a course – it’s a living, breathing journey of support. Together we explore how body, mind, and spirit can come into greater balance through:
Learning – clear, accessible teaching about the nervous system, resilience, and healing, grounded in neuroscience and the lens of Polyvagal Theory.
Embodiment Exploration – simple, everyday practices that help you tune in to your body and its wisdom.
Yoga & Movement – gentle, adaptable sequences you can do on a mat, in a chair, on the sofa, or even in bed.
Meditation & Breathwork – guided practices to bring steadiness, calm, and clarity.
Creative & Spiral Practices – journaling, reflection, and rituals that move with the rhythm of the Spiral itself.
This is a holistic and compassionate approach – accessible, flexible, and always offered in gentle steps. Each part of the Spiral is designed to meet you where you are, so you can take what feels supportive and leave the rest.
Above all, Befriending Me is rooted in community – a space of kindness, shared understanding, and encouragement, where we remember we don’t have to walk this journey alone.
This Spiral runs over eleven months, guiding you through six parts of the journey. Each part includes live sessions, practices, and resources that help you explore, rebuild, and flourish – always at your own pace.
Part One: Rest & Restore – beginning again with deep rest, ease, and gentleness
Part Two: Nourish – tending to body, mind, and emotions with care
Part Three: Reflect – listening inward, journaling, and finding clarity
Part Four: Rebuild – gentle strength, movement, and creativity
Part Five: Explore – opening to curiosity, play, and new possibilities
Part Six: Connect – weaving together connection with self, others, nature, and spirit

You can join live sessions or watch recordings in your own time.
Practices are accessible – whether you’re on a yoga mat, chair, bed, or sofa.
Everything is offered with compassion and flexibility – choose what works for you.
This programme is offered on a pay-as-you-can basis, so finances don’t need to be a barrier. Your contribution supports the continuation of Befriending Me and helps me to keep it accessible to all.
Practical Details
There will be some additional live sessions some Mondays at 11am and other ad-hoc practices that you can join.
